Plain-language summary
We collect only the information needed to respond to you and provide real estate services — typically your name, email, phone number, and the property details you share. We do not sell your information. You can request access to or correction of your personal information at any time. This policy is aligned with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What information we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional).
- Property details you submit through forms, including address, property type, size, bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, and timeline.
- Communications with us: messages, emails, and call notes.
- Basic technical information when you visit the site (e.g. browser type, pages viewed) for site performance and security.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiries and follow up with you.
- To prepare automated home value estimates and personal follow-up reports you've requested.
- To provide real estate services as your REALTOR® if you choose to work with us.
- To send occasional market updates — only if you've opted in via the marketing-consent checkbox.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and brokerage record-keeping requirements.
3. Consent — including marketing consent
We rely on your consent to collect and use your personal information. Submitting a contact, valuation, or inquiry form is treated as consent to use the information for the purpose you submitted it.
Marketing consent is separate and optional. You'll see a clearly labelled checkbox where it applies. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any marketing email or by contacting us directly. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect our ability to follow up on a service you've already requested.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only with:
- CENTURY 21 Millennium Inc., Brokerage, where required for our broker-consumer relationship.
- Service providers we use to operate the site (for example, email delivery and database hosting), under agreements that require them to protect your information.
- Regulatory authorities or courts, where required by law.
5. How we store and protect it
Personal information is stored on secure servers operated by reputable infrastructure providers. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege practices to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to maintain reasonable safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law and brokerage record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Access, correction, and withdrawal
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations). To make a request, contact Jhonavel Matias at jhonavel.matias@century21.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time.
